Kavita Sharma, Associate

Kavita Sharma’s primary practice areas are landlord/tenant, eviction and San Francisco Rent Control law.

Kavita grew up in Kenya, moved to Chicago with her family in 1993, and has been a Californian since 2002.

She received her B.A. in History and History of Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, graduating with Comprehensive Honors. Kavita gained her J.D. at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005. During her law school career, she was Notes Editor of the Hastings Law Journal.

Kavita was Judicial Extern to the Honorable Susan Illston of the Northern District in 2005 and has been active with the San Francisco Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services Project’s Landlord/Tenant practice since 2006.
